Features:

1. Standard Aluminum Pans (Bayonet Type):

– Application: Ideal for non-volatile solid samples (e.g., polymers, pharmaceuticals).

– Usage: Widely used for melting, crystallization, and glass transition tests of polymers and thermoplastics.

⚠️ Note: These are bayonet-style, non-sealed containers designed for routine analysis.

2. Material Compatibility & Inert Alternatives:

– To prevent unwanted reactions between the sample and the pan, we recommend using crucibles made from inert materials, such as platinum.

3. High-Pressure Sealed Pans:

– Feature: Provide a hermetic seal during testing.

– Benefit: Effectively suppresses volatilization and contains volatile components within the pan. This eliminates measurement disturbances caused by the latent heat of evaporation.

4. Optimizing Performance Through Pan Selection:

– For Weak Thermal Effects: Use larger volume pans to increase sample mass, enhancing signal detection.

– For Higher Resolution: Use lightweight pans with superior thermal conductivity to improve sensitivity and peak separation.
